“Governors are jointly responsible for the conduct of the school, ensuring that the best possible Catholic education is provided for the pupils attending the school. This means ensuring the school is run according to its Articles of Association and the Diocesan Trust Deed, that its religious character is preserved and developed, and that pupils obtain high standards of academic achievement.”

Our Vision

It is important that everyone connected with the school understands the beliefs that underpin everything we do in school; those beliefs shape our behaviours and determine the direction in which we hope to move the school.

The Mission Statement is set out across the page. We have included all the very special elements that make the school a wonderful place and to build on that so the school can continue to improve, becoming an excellent place of learning.

We want the children to that understand (at an age appropriate level) what standards and expectations flow from the Mission Statement; in doing so we will focus on the headline Learning, living and loving one another in God’s name. This is how we will expect the children to articulate the school’s mission statement.

Learning, living and loving one another in God’s name

Our mission is to deliver an outstanding and distinctive Catholic education where Christ dwells at the heart of our community. We celebrate holiness, knowing that we are each supported by God and invited to respond to Him with a strong faith.

Our school is a happy, welcoming and caring environment where all adults and children are treated with respect and compassion. We work collaboratively, recognising and celebrating each other as unique, and we are committed to nourishing a true feeling of belonging.

We embrace a holistic and inclusive approach to our children’s education; with each pupil being provided with challenging, creative and exciting learning opportunities, so that every single child achieves their full potential, and is eager for the next memorable day in our school.
