In April 2013 the Government announced new funding (Sports Premium) for physical education (PE) in primary schools. Schools can choose how to spend this money with the aim to improve the quality and breadth of PE and sports provision in school. We are using the Sports Premium to do the following:

  • Encourage children into sports and a broad range of physical activities at all levels.
  • Improve the provision of PE at St Stephen’s Catholic Primary School.
  • Develop a love of sport and physical activity.
  • Broaden the sporting opportunities and experiences available to pupils.
